I have been training and showing Bullmastiffs since 1972 and am a life member of the American Bullmastiff Association. My own breeding program began in 1990 with a focus on producing the best family companions who can also work in agility, obedience, tracking, rally, therapy, and lure coursing, or just be great couch potatoes. I also produced many top show winners. With four generations of championship agility dogs and by retiring the National Specialty best Bred-By Challenge trophy, I’ve proved Beowulf dogs are the best. Beowulf Glory Girl, CD, MX, AXJ, AXP, AJP, TT, CGC, who won Best of Winners at the 1995 Nationals and AOM at 1997 Westminster, became the first and only conformation champion to obtain a Champion Master Agility Excellent title. Ch. Beowulf A Mother’s Glory, CD, BN, TD, RE, OA, OAJ, NAP, NAJ, OFP, THD, CAA, VCD1 is the only Bullmastiff to achieve titles in all AKC events available to Bullmastiffs. Developed in 1982 as Little English we changed our name to Barb’Eric due to the wise suggestion of a dear and knowledgeable breeder who’s dogs are still in the background of our dogs today.
